The site is located next to a park with big trees, facing a huge slope and flag lot.
After we started to think how to achieve all what the client wants, we faced to a regulation problem to get sunlight and natural ventilation in need. So we transformed the building into 4 volumes with different types of roof to expand window areas which have distance from site boundaries to achieve the window regulation.
The featured roofs create some rhythm of sloping roofs for the interior. The height and slope of roofs are designed from the requirement of each indoor space, and windows area in need.
To provide comfort and relaxation, we have utilized external insulation with minimal windows, then installing big Clerestories between roofs to capture beautiful greens at the park next to it.
