This is a project by a Danish watch maker aimed at supporting students during the corona crisis. Based on the theme of "Northern Europe as seen from Japan," this wristwatch was designed with a focus on winter nights, which are indispensable in creating Nordic designs and lifestyles.

Winter Nights

long winter nights.

It's beautiful, ephemeral, and sometimes painful.

For Nordic people, winter nights may be something of a cultural origin.

The beautiful interior and high craftsmanship may have been born in the process of spending long winter nights.

Through this project, I want to create a watch that abstracts the "flow of time."

It is a clock that faintly shines the light of nature and life in the long-lasting darkness of winter.

With the hope that symbolizes the current world waiting for spring.
